Two people were killed and two others injured in a Russian attack on Ukraine's Khmelnytskyi region, Ukraine's State Emergency Service said Monday.
"During search-and-rescue work in one of the houses, rescuers found the bodies of two women born in 1926 and 1954. Two more people were hospitalized," the service said on Telegram. (Translated from Ukrainian by GROKsiNEWS.com.)
Two businesses were damaged, one of them catching fire, and fires broke out in private homes, the service said. Rescuers put out the fires, it said.
Serhiy Tyurin, head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, gave the same death toll earlier Monday, saying on Telegram that search-and-rescue work had "ended tragically" with the discovery of the second body. (Translated from Ukrainian by GROKsiNEWS.com.)
The toll may change as information is updated.
