Update (Oct. 20, 2026, 7:58 a.m. ET): This story has been updated with Rams coach Sean McVay's update on Davante Adams' injury, as reported by The Associated Press.

The Carolina Panthers beat the Philadelphia Eagles 25-14 on Sunday in Philadelphia in Week 6 of the NFL season, according to NFL.com's official scores. Bryce Young threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns to tight end Tommy Tremble, and Chuba Hubbard ran for 120 yards and a score, The Associated Press reported.

The Eagles (2-4) have lost four straight games for the first time since 2020 and were without quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley, the AP reported. Backup Tanner McKee went 26 of 45 for 215 yards and a touchdown, a 19-yard pass to DeVonta Smith that pulled the Eagles within 19-14 early in the fourth quarter, according to the AP. Young sealed the win with a 19-yard touchdown pass to Tremble, and the Panthers improved to 3-2, the AP reported.

"Great fight in the guys," Panthers coach Dave Canales said, according to the AP.

On Monday, the Eagles and Hurts's agent, Nicole Lynn, said in a joint statement that Hurts has been diagnosed with a deep vein thrombosis and bilateral pulmonary emboli and that his prognosis is "very good." The statement said he will not be allowed to take part in contact activities, including football, while he is being treated with blood thinners, and it did not give a timeline for his return. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport posted on X that "Hurts is out for the season," ESPN's Adam Schefter posted that Hurts "will be out for the season," and a person familiar with the situation told the AP that Hurts is expected to miss the rest of the season. The Eagles and Lynn have not confirmed that he will miss the rest of the season.

With 539 career touchdown passes, Rodgers tied Peyton Manning for third on the NFL's career list, behind Tom Brady and Drew Brees, according to the AP.
