SoFi Technologies reported record net revenue of $1.4 billion for the third quarter on Tuesday and raised its full-year 2026 guidance, according to the company's earnings release.
GAAP net revenue rose 44% from a year earlier to $1.385 billion, and adjusted net revenue, a non-GAAP measure, also rose 44%, to $1.371 billion, the company said. Net income was $241.0 million, or 18 cents a diluted share, up from $139.4 million, or 11 cents a share, a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA rose 70% to $469.8 million, according to the release.
"We had exceptional Q3 results against the backdrop of any environment, but they are even more remarkable given how 2026 has unfolded," CEO Anthony Noto said in the release.
Members, loans and deposits
SoFi said it added a record 1.2 million members in the quarter, bringing its total to 17.1 million, up 35% from 12.6 million a year earlier. Its total products rose 44% to 26.7 million. Total loan originations reached a record $16.9 billion, including about $3.8 billion through its Loan Platform Business, and total deposits grew $5.8 billion in the quarter to $51.3 billion, the company said.
Guidance
SoFi now expects about $5.04 billion in adjusted net revenue for 2026, which it said implies about 40% growth, and about $1.66 billion in adjusted EBITDA. It also expects about $840 million in net income and 61 cents in earnings per share for the year, according to the release.
The company also gave a first outlook for 2027: about $6.4 billion in adjusted net revenue, about $2.24 billion in adjusted EBITDA, about $1.28 billion in net income and about 90 cents in earnings per share. SoFi said its 2026 and 2027 guidance is above analyst estimates.
Adjusted net revenue and adjusted EBITDA are non-GAAP measures; SoFi said it has not reconciled its forward-looking non-GAAP figures to the closest GAAP measures.
